McAllen Hunters Exposition
A great time was had by all at the Hunters Exposition in McAllen July 18,19, & 20th. We had a great time and managed to get out just before Tropical Storm Dolly hit landfall just miles from where we were at!

The show organizers did a wonderful job taking care of the vendors and visitors. There was a lot of information available for hunters and fishermen at the show,

including tour guides and themed vacations available. Most vendors offered great savings to visitors. This was well worth our trip!

Sponsoring the Mini Journey for Charity

Round the World in a Mini Truck! Smaller is Better refers to the tiny size of the car we’ll be driving and the even smaller size of its engine. While the Mongol Rally require that our engine size stay under 1 liter, our team decided to make things a bit more challenging by attempting to encircle the northern hemisphere with a .66 liter “kei” or mini-van.

For the first leg of the journey Smaller is Better will participate in Mongol Rally 2008 presented by the Adventurists. The rally begins on July 19th, Hyde Park, London, UK and after over a 10,000 miles (if we don’t get lost) finishes in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

In the process we hope to raise some awareness for these funny little vehicles and raise some money for charity in the process. After (or if?) we finish the Mongol Rally, we will push onward to traverse the remainder of the northern hemisphere via Canada and the US. We hope you’ll support us and visit the touring team when the arrive in Franklin, TX !

Staying in Tune
Keith and Sean will both be out to Las Vegas keeping up with the latest innovations in the body shop industry and after market parts. There are 3 conventions going on simultaneously; NACE, SEMA, and APEX. Each year Keith and Sean attend all 3 to make sure they up on the best in the industry for the customers.
